New strategic role will help brand build environment for continued growth as it targets exciting chapter in 2026

Under Armour Golf has moved to significantly strengthen its sales force with the appointment of Craig Hollingworth to the position of UK Sales Director.

A former PGA Professional, Hollingworth brings a wealth of commercial and industry-specific experience to his new role, having been part of the Under Armour team since 2006 as Area Sales Manager covering the North West region and working closely with some of the brand’s biggest retail partners.

In his new position at Under Armour, Hollingworth will assume day-to-day control over the UK sales team, while also retaining direct management over a number of key accounts in the North West.

The move is another significant one by Under Armour, with the brand earlier this year announcing the appointment of Charlie Hartley - formerly of Foremost - as Regional Sales Manager, supporting Hollingworth and covering the North East region.

As well as the positions of Hartley and Hollingworth, the new Under Armour Golf Showroom - which is located in Warrington and opened in February - represents a key base for the brand’s sales team to service the northern region and perfectly complements last year’s opening of the Under Armour Golf Performance Centre at Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire.

Hollingworth said: “This is an incredibly exciting time to be part of the Under Armour Golf team. I have been lucky enough to work with the brand for almost 20 years now and have seen it evolve from those early days when UA first entered the golf market.

“After working and covering the North West for many years with Under Armour, and building close relationships with retailers and online, I am looking forward to taking on this new role and heading up our fantastic sales team.”

Key to Hollingworth’s new role will be growing relationships and consistency with online retailers, and helping to generate long-term partnerships. Resort and green grass business will also form a key part of his remit.

Under Armour Golf’s Richard Palmer-Jones said: “Craig has been an important part of the Under Armour Golf business for a number of years and this move into a Sales Director role is a reflection of his understanding and deep knowledge of the market, and will help us build on momentum and award-winning success ahead of a very exciting SS26 launch later this month.

“Craig will still be involved in some direct account management with key partners in his region where he has developed long-lasting relationships. But this is more of a strategic role where we will be looking to Craig to help build an environment within the team for continued growth.

“As Sales Director, Craig will spearhead our team of UK reps. The Under Armour Golf brand continues to evolve and grow, and we are entering a particularly exciting time for the company, with Craig vital to that.”
