Earlier this week 18 TGI Partners from across Ireland were invited to an Educational Day hosted by Titleist and FootJoy at the stunning Carton House in County Kildare.
Partners were welcomed by Titleist and FootJoy ASMs before experiencing a personalised shoe fitting underlining the importance for golfers of wearing the correct shoe for them.
Partners were also given the opportunity to view and try the latest Titleist product as well as participating in a clinic with DP World Tour player Niklas Norgaard Moller which was a highlight of the day.
A round on the O’Meara Course wrapped up the day which was the perfect combination of education, networking and good fun.
Peter Smyth – TGI Retail Consultant for Ireland said:
“It was a fantastic event at a great venue, I’d like to thank Titleist and FootJoy for putting a great itinerary together that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone that attended. It was fantastic from the welcome, the personalised shoe fitting and then club and ball education and being able to view and sample new product.
“We were treated to a clinic by DP World Tour Player Niklas Norgaard Moller where the interaction between TGI Partners and Niklas was fantastic and then had the luxury of playing on the O’Meara Course.
“The event really did a lot to enhance the relationships between TGI Partners and their ASMs and also between Acushnet and the TGI Golf Partnership.”
TGI Partner and Head Professional at Ardglass Golf Club added:
“It was a great day from start to finish, we had a fantastic welcome from Titleist and FootJoy and it was great to catch up with other TGI Partners as always.
“The clinic with Niklas Norgaard Moller was very insightful and I particularly enjoyed that. It was also interesting to see first-hand how important a proper golf shoe fitting is and see and try new Titleist product.
“It was also great to have a game of golf with fellow TGI Partners – a hugely successful day all round and a lot of fun.”
