Titleist is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Shrieve as its new Area Sales Manager for the South-Central region.
The move follows the recent promotion of his predecessor, Matthew Allanson, to the role of Titleist Partnership Manager for the UK region.
Shrieve brings extensive experience in the golfing industry, beginning his career at The Grove and working his way up to the position of Head Professional.
During this time, Shrieve was honoured with the Titleist PGA Assistant of the Year award - the most prestigious accolade given to PGA trainees.
More recently he performed the role of Director of Golf at Bearwood Lakes where he was responsible for all the golf services including retail and the custom fitting operation.
He aims to draw on his experience and long-standing relationships to best support the Titleist brand and its valued stockists.
“Titleist has phenomenal products with best-in-class performance.,” said Shrieve.
“Having the #1 ball in golf and most played driver, iron and wedge on both the PGA and DP World Tours really backs this up.
“My appreciation for the brand began as a customer where I had the opportunity to attend several events for the trade. I was so impressed with the people and culture within the Titleist and Acushnet Company, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of.
“A few years later I was then invited to become a Team Titleist Staff Ambassador which having been such a fan of the brand, was something I relished.
“I have always enjoyed the people-focused element of being a PGA Professional, working within a club environment, as well as the commercial side of running the business. These aspects align very well with the Titleist Area Sales Manager position which made the proposition so very attractive.
“My previous roles have provided me with a decade of experience as a Titleist customer and I hope to draw on this knowledge to best support Titleist accounts across the South-Central region.”
