Congratulations to The K Club and David Scott on the recent announcement that the 2026 PGA Cup will be held at TGI Partner venue.

The Great Britain & Ireland Team will be captained by David Scott, General Manager at Dumbarnie Links, another TGI Partner Venue.

A recent PGA statement said:

The PGA is delighted to announce that The K Club, County Kildare, will host the 2026 PGA Cup. Current PGA Captain David Scott will also lead the Great Britain & Ireland team as they face the USA.

The K Club makes history as the first venue to host the PGA Cup on three occasions, following its memorable editions in 1992 and 2005.

“I’m super excited and very honoured as I’m aware of the many incredible Captains we have had in previous years,” said Scott. “It’s about time we wrestled the cup back to this side of the pond, and I’ll be doing all I can to prepare the team to fight with pride.”

Robert Maxfield, Chief Executive of The PGA, added: “The GB&I team are in extremely capable hands under the captaincy of David Scott. As a former player in this event, David understands exactly what it means to represent GB&I. He brings not only experience but a deep passion for the game and I’m sure he’ll feel the same immense pride leading his side as he did wearing the team colours.”

The 32nd edition of the PGA Cup will take place from 29 September - 4 October 2026.
