The TGI Golf Partnership have expanded their team with the addition of Emma Fletcher as Retail Consultant for the North region.
Emma’s appointment takes the team of Retail Consultants to five, managed by Chris Taylor who has taken on a more senior role as Retail Team Manager.
This expansion of the Retail Team allows TGI Golf to continue to provide the highest ratio of free retail assistance available and an unparalleled level of retail support.
Emma who has been a PGA Professional for a decade and has worked at Morecombe Golf Club for almost 15 years, brings a great deal of experience with her to the role.
Emma worked as a coach at Morecombe Golf Club as well as in the retail side of the business which has given her an appreciation for the many elements that make up the day of a PGA Professional. She is also acutely aware of how beneficial the support of a dedicated retail consultant can be.
“Having the support of a strong Retail Consultant is what sets your business over and above another Pro Shop or other business that is trying to do the same thing,” she said. “There can be so many golf retailers within a small area, it’s important to stand out.
“You want to know if there are any trends you are missing – that can be in what stock to carry, marketing, merchandising – or even just reassurance that what you’re doing is working.
“I am really looking forward to getting out and meeting TGI Partners that I haven’t already met, building relationships with them and getting my teeth into the role.
“Everyone at TGI has been very welcoming and I already feel like part of the team, I’m excited for what’s to come.”
