Moving Zero Torque Forward
Introducing the new Square 2 Square Tri-Hot Putters by Odyssey. By using multi-material construction in S2S Tri-Hot, Odyssey have been able to move the cg of these putters far enough forward to get the shaft entering the head on the topline. This eliminates the need for shaft lean and thus eliminates one of the biggest barriers to entry for this style of putter. It provides a more natural, intuitive, and comfortable set up position.
By strategically using Aluminium, Steel, and over 140 grams of tungsten, they have been able to design a “Zero Torque” putter with more than 80% of its weight under the topline and allowing for their forward CG and hosel position.
New Ai-DUAL Insert
This dual-layer urethane insert has a soft outer layer and a firm inner layer delivering not only consistent ball speed across the face but also enhanced forward roll up and down the face and amazing feel. Odyssey’s new Forward Roll Design groove design is deeper and more aggressive with a 19° slope, working in conjunction with the dual layer design to improve forward roll up and down the face.
New Pistol Plus Grip
Surveying the most popular grips on Tour resulted in a new mid-sized pistol grip that provides better awareness of where the putter face is throughout the stroke.
