Rib textures, softer silhouettes and the introduction of pleating feature in new collection for women.

Original Penguin Golf has introduced  its new Spring/Summer ‘25 collection for women that uses the nostalgic power of summers gone by to bring fashionable elegance and a touch of sporting glamour to the golf course.

Textures and fabric finishes are the story of the season. The collection also features a mix of pleats and new softer silhouettes in skorts and polos, all brought together across two fashion product drops.

New design features across the women’s collection include a re-engineered collar shape in Polos, new necklines, new high waistband in skorts, and a new silhouette to trousers. Prints follow a conversational theme, similar to the men’s collection, but with additional feminine detailing. Floral patterns and Geo prints have an art deco or graphical twist.

Fabric technology and precise detailing remain important ingredients in the performance and appeal of all Original Penguin Golf apparel. Elevated 4-way stretch in Polos offers cool-to-the-touch, premium fabrics in high-gauge poly/elastane blends that are breathable, anti-wrinkle and sustainable.

The colour palette in the women’s first delivery (Palm Springs) brings vibrancy while still using softer hues. Fashion colours are light pastels like charm pink, windsurfer blue and acacia mixed with stimulating bright French blue, all grounded in navy and white.

The second delivery (Ibiza/Casablanca) emulates summer warmth and sunset skies. Fashion colour, coral quartz, creates a radiant effect when combined with buttery dusty citron, while castaway blue provides an unexpected cooling effect to a very warm palette. This palette is also grounded in navy and white.

Fashion drops are supported by a comprehensive wardrobe of Women’s Essentials – Polos, Sun Protection layering, Skorts, Trousers and Dresses, plus Women’s Polar Pete collection, featuring Zip Jackets, Textured Mid Layering and Insulated Vests, for those cooler days on the golf course.

Original Penguin Golf continues to build a growing influence on the professional stage  to validate product performance whilst reflecting individuality and personality. Ambassadors include former Open Champion, Cameron Smith, plus a host of other Tour players, including Jake Knapp and Nico Echavarria on the PGA Tour, and the newly-signed German, Esther Henseleit on the LPGA Tour.

How It All Began
In 1955, a sportswear icon was born from the most unusual of places. Fuelled by whisky, Abbot Pederson purchased an unlikely drinking buddy for his flight home in the form of a stuffed penguin he named Pete.

A quip from a stewardess led Pederson to embroider the character on his new shirts and Pete has gone on to leave his mark on a league of legends. For over 60 years the namesake bird has been adored by the masters of leisure and sport to define itself as an American classic. Today, the Penguin icon still stands as a signal for those who know how to be an original.
