TGI Golf Travel has extended its sales team with the addition of Arran Ross who is currently carrying out his training at the head office in Livingston.
Arran joins the team with a strong interest in sport and golf having previously worked for North Lanarkshire council coaching and co-ordinating junior golf and football programmes, having also had a spell working in the pro shop at Airdrie Golf Club where he is a member.
With a keen passion for sports, Arran studied Sports Development at the University of the West of Scotland and graduated in 2022.
He said "I can’t wait to get started! The golf travel industry is something I feel extremely passionate about and feel very fortunate to be able to learn from such an experienced team. This is a fantastic role with many exciting opportunities, working for a growing company and I am really looking forward to getting into the swing of things."
Neil MacRae, TGI Golf Travel Sales Director, added "We are pleased to announce a new addition to our team at TGI Golf Travel. Arran is a former professional footballer and was also a sports coach for some time after that.
While new to the travel industry, Arran has a good eye for detail and has played golf abroad several times and will gradually be visiting the main resorts we sell."
