A new sustainability themed campaign has been launched at The Betfred British Masters this week for players and visitors to the event, and TGI brand partner OCEANTEE is part of this fantastic collaborative project.
The DP World Tour’s Green Drive will take place over the iconic 10th hole of the Brabazon Course at The Belfry, with a virtual version available for spectators to play on a golf simulator. Entrants into the virtual competition to drive the 10th will all receive a limited-edition customised matchbox of OCEANTEE bamboo tees.
As part of the campaign, 100 trees will be planted in the nearby Forest of Mercia for every Tour player that manages to drive the famous par 4 10th hole at The Belfry. In addition, for every successful Green Drive, tournament partners Betfred will donate £500 to Prostate Cancer UK, the tournament’s official charity partner. There will be a number of additional prizes over the weekend for the virtual spectator version.
