We have a rare opportunity for someone to join the PING Sales team as an Apparel Area Sales Manager, covering the territory of South East England and reporting directly to European Apparel Sales Director.

Key responsibilities

  • Growing and managing the sales and distribution of PING apparel and soft goods in Southeast England.
  • Developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans with customers in the territory, maintaining strong, sustainable customer relationships that optimise account activity.
  • Present new collections and educate customers on the features and benefits of PING apparel and soft goods.
  • Ensure PING products are well merchandised in-store to provide maximum brand presence.
  • Create business plans and proposals for new and existing opportunities to achieve sales targets that are in line with company expectations.
  • Regular monthly sales reporting and business reviews with key customers, analysing sell-through, product opportunities and performance against sales targets.

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Full, clean and valid driving licence.
  • Experience in the golf industry and customer relations.

Essential skills and personal qualities:

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to identify sales opportunities
  • Confidence to deliver product presentations and provide clear order recommendations 
  • Strong organisation, administration and planning skills
  • Able to interact and work effectively with different types and levels of people
  • Proactive and offering a high degree of personal initiative
  • A passion for quality, service and continuous improvement
  • A committed and passionate golfer
