An opportunity has arisen at our prestigious golf club for a PGA coach to join the golf professional shop team at Hamilton Golf Club. This is a self-employed role.
Our busy facility attracts a constant flow of members, guests and visitors into the Professional Shop. This provides a great opportunity for the right candidate with great interpersonal skills, to help deliver great customer service through retail, coaching and club fitting.
- The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Be fully PGA qualified or soon to be qualified
- An appetite for coaching and a solid understanding of modern methods. An opportunity to build a strong client base.
- Experience delivering group coaching to all categories of golfers.
- Be able to organise, structure and deliver group sessions to progress our vibrant kids Academy.
- Offer the complete range of services required as a Golf Professional to a wide range of golfers of all abilities.
- Assound understanding of club fitting methods.
- Knowledge and understanding of Trackman/launch monitors would be advantageous.
- Great communication skills with a passion for all aspects of golf.
- Have experience working in a busy pro shop.
The facilities at Hamilton Golf Club include
- 18 hole golf course
- Trackman, Capto and Hack motion technologies
- 4 covered driving bays
- Grass tee area
- Large pitching and chipping green
- 2 greenside bunkers
- Indoor studio with trackman
- Putting green
- A fully stocked shop with fitting products for TaylorMade, Callaway, Titleist and Ping

Training will be provided for all the above duties to help acquire new skills.
