Glenbrae is celebrating after seeing a 24% rise in pre-books from TGI Golf Partners for its Spring/Summer 2020 Collection.
Alan Purdie, Glenbrae Brand Director, said: “This has been the fourth consecutive year that we have produced a Spring Summer Collection for pre-order and each year the range has grown in size along with the orders, the sell in for Spring 2020 has been our most successful so far with a 24% rise from the same period last year.
“We are finding there is gap in the market for high quality knitwear, fashions tend to change in five-year blocks and we are starting to see many customers who are looking for a much more tailored and elegant look now, they also want to buy a multi-use garment and there is nothing serves as multi use any better than a piece of knitwear, it can be worn for golf, casual or below a suit or blazer.
“We believe that another major contributing factor for the growth is the public’s desire to move back to wanting to buy brands made in Britain. We are fortunate that our heritage falls firmly under this banner.
“We also enjoy the relationship that we have with TGI Golf and our subsequent customer base, we are not a brand that shouts too loudly, but TGI Golf helps us place our products in the hands of the appropriate customers and thankfully those customers seem to be enjoying the lasted Glenbrae offerings.”
