Special ‘webinars’ serve up a taster of The Golf Show’s big seminars

The Golf Show – Europe’s leading golf trade show and education event – is offering delegates the chance to take part in exclusive free ‘webinars’ with key presenters speaking at this year’s event.

The webinars will provide a background glimpse of the seminars each speaker will be delivering during The Golf Show – staged at Harrogate International Centre from October 25-27 – and allow delegates to learn more about each presenter, their chosen subject and why it will be beneficial to attend.

Leading industry speakers such as Jamie Edwards, Scott Cranfield, Ian Clark, Graeme McDowall, Dave Hicks, Niall Flanagan, Paul Dyer and Fredrik Tuxen will take part in three special webinars in which delegates can also ask questions.

David Colclough, PGA Head of Member Education, said: “We have recently introduced webinars to the PGA education department and have enjoyed a great response from members. The webinars are free, can be accessed from anywhere in the world and offer delegates expert advice from highly qualified individuals at no cost.”

The first webinar which was held on Tuesday, September 6, from 8.30-9am included short-game expert Paul Dyer, club management specialist Niall Flanagan and Jamie Edwards, leading mental performance coach. The final webinar included Fellow of the PGA Ian Clark, putting expert David Hicks and Fredrik Tuxen, Chief Technical Officer and co-founder of ISG/TrackMan, wias held on Tuesday, October 4, also between 8.30-9am. Each webinar will be recorded and made available after the event – so even those unable to take part live can still learn from them via The Golf Show’s official website at www.golftradeshow.co.uk.

Delegates can register for The Golf Show via the official website at www.golftradeshow.co.uk. Once registered they can review the timetable of seminars and request a place on those they would like to attend by emailing CPD@pga.org.uk, indicating full name, membership number, and course title and date. Delegates can only pre-register for one seminar per day and bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis. Further seminars may be booked, subject to availability, upon arrival at the show.
