Promotional Events

During our members golfing year there are a number of events that our partner suppliers heavily support.  These promotions quite often involves exclusive product offers for the consumer or specific key events for the TGI Golf member and their customer.

The details below outline the latest promotional events that the TGI Golf members will be involved in.

Taylormade-adidas Golf Amateur Championship

Once again TGI Golf has teamed up with TaylorMade-adidas to search the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands for the top amateur golfer.

The TaylorMade-adidas Golf Amateur Championship 2010 will see 10,000 golfers battle it out for the chance to play at four-time Ryder Cup host The Belfry and become crowned amateur champion.

More than 100 TGI Golf members will stage qualifying events across the UK, Ireland and Holland between now and July 3, 2010.

The winners of these qualifying medals will be placed on a national leaderboard. The top 20 after July 3, will accompany their TGI Golf pro to The Belfry for the grand final on Friday, August 27, 2010, where both golfers will sample life as a TaylorMade-adidas tour professional.

Last year’s champion was Stephen Hubbard, from Bathgate Golf Club, West Lothian, who claimed top spot at Dalmahoy Golf Club, Edinburgh. His prize saw him travel with his pro Stuart Callan, to TaylorMade-adidas’s centre of excellence in Germany, and received a fully custom fit set of TaylorMade clubs.

Whitcraigs Golf Club pro Alastair Forrow and amateur partner Andrew Watt came away with the top team prize of a two-night stay at PGA Golf Catalunya, host of the Spanish Open and European Tour Q-School.
